Holding the Line for Swieqi FC
Designing for Kaidon D’Agostino was all about capturing the presence, discipline, and strength of a defender who commands respect every time he steps onto the pitch. Playing for Swieqi FC and proudly wearing the number 4, Kaidon brings structure, grit, and leadership to the backline—qualities I made sure to showcase in this design.
The backdrop of this piece fully embraces Swieqi FC’s iconic colour palette—orange, white, and black—creating a strong visual identity that immediately connects the viewer to the club. The number 4 is incorporated boldly into the design, not just as a number, but as a symbol of Kaidon’s role as a rock in defence.
At the centre, Kaidon stands tall, with an orange light cutting through from behind, creating a glowing edge that makes the entire composition pop. This glow doesn't just add visual flair—it highlights his importance on the pitch, the way he lights up Swieqi’s defence, and his ability to stand out in high-pressure moments.
Above him, I used a clean, modern font to place his name, adding to the sleek, contemporary aesthetic of the poster. It’s a design that reflects both strength and professionalism, just like Kaidon’s playing style.
This piece is more than just a graphic—it’s a visual shout of recognition for a defender who never backs down.
For me, design isn’t just about making something look good; it’s about telling a story without words. And with Kaidon, the story is one of strength, structure, and pride in the badge.
This is what I do—turning passion into visuals that demand attention. Because in football, as in design, standing out is everything.
